It's been six weeks since my last post. What a six weeks too! Technically, I'm homeless! Not living on the street (yet), but staying with friends. I'm doing this from the library and I only have 28 minutes to finish!
Dick has decided no laws can touch him, Dubya thinks he's a dictator and Michael Bloomberg wants to be president! Out here in Duncan Hunterville ... it's all Bill Clinton's fault. Seriously, everyone wants to blame Bill. Did you see the funny campaign commercial he and the senator made, spoofing the final episode of The Sopranos?
And what was up with that final episode??!!
Okay, David Chase has a sense of humor, now we call all sit around and wonder, did the Soprano family survive? Did Tony get indicted? Did AJ join the Army?
So, here it is, 10:15 a.m. on Saturday Morning and I should be trolling the Internets for a job ... I actually have a job (I think) but it's hard to to tell ...
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, great beach weather and that's probably where I'll be this afternoon. Ah ... the beach! Most of my friends avoid the beach: too crowded! Not me! I love the beach when it's crowded! Actually, my goal is La Jolla Cove for some snorkeling!
Speaking of which, the water is relatively clean, which brings up the global climate change. And there are (still) people who want to claim global warming isn't real. ¡usted está tan loco!
Melanie Morgan was on Hardball Friday debating the issue with Robert Kennedy, JR, who is one of the leading authorities on the climate and other environmental issues -- and she just lied, flat out lied and even Chris Matthews had to comment about her gross exaggerations.
Something to think about as we head into the heart of summer and all the fun activities we will engage in while enjoying the great outdoors! Just remember our men and women in harm's way in Afghanistan and the illegal war in Iraq.
