Adios!
Good Morning everyone!
This will be my last post, at least for a while. One of my mother's great wishes in life was for me to enter the seminary and become a Catholic priest. Indeed, at the age of 13 my parents actually sent me to a seminary in Wisconsin; it might have been St. Lawrence just southwest of Fond Du Lac. Who can remember, it was so long ago.
At that time I wasn’t ready for the Priesthood, my lifestyle was rather wild — for a 13 year old. But now that I’m older, wiser and not really getting any romantic interest, now seems the time to fulfill my mother’s dream. A monastic life, filled with daily reflection and prayer, seems like a worthy path to follow for the remainder of my days.
There is a monastery in Oceanside, CA, Prince of Peace, and that's where I'll go. So, it's been fun, but everyone’s life turns a page from time to time.
